Galaxy Note 10.1 Gets Jelly Bean Upgrade

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10.1 is undoubtedly the best tablet that Samsung is offering today. There are many reasons why this is so. Perhaps the best one is that Samsung has brought back the stylus into this tablet. While I could wax eloquent about the tablet’s amazing features, let me tell you about another notable feature that the company recently announced.

The functionality of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is now further improved as it has been upgraded with Jelly Bean. This upgrade will only serve to enhance the key features of the Galaxy Note 10.1. We are all only too well aware of the characteristics that Jelly Bean brings along with it. For those of you who do not know much about it let me give you a brief introduction to it.

Jelly Bean is the smoothest and fastest version of Android till date. Not only does it improve the beauty and simplicity of the Android 4.0, it also comes with a new search experience on Google. The Jelly Bean experience has to be simply experienced to realize how fast and smooth everything becomes. Moving between apps or screens is effortless. In addition to this, Jelly Bean improves the overall performance of the entire system. Your entire device is more responsive when it has Jelly Bean added to it.

Now let us see how the Galaxy 10.1 functions with the Jelly Bean Upgrade. The new update will help you do a lot more. Along with Jelly Bean, Samsung is also bringing the S Pen preview feature. This feature of the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 will let you preview the contents of a photo album. You can also check a video clip without interrupting it.

Apart from this, there is also Air View which gives you a preview of video and photo galleries, calendar entries, and message content. All this is seen by just hovering the pen‘s nib over the above mentioned sections. This way, you get to preview different sources of information without actually opening the specific application. For instance, you can view an email without actually opening the email.

Another aspect that Samsung has worked on in this update is the multitasking ability of the tablet. The result is that multi view is now integrated into Multi Window. This means you can interact with several applications in the same space. All you need to do is to open up new applications on the tablets which appear as popup windows. You can also move these windows around and resize them, the way you would on a PC. The Multi Windows feature allows up to 16 apps to be opened at the same time.

The Premium Suite has also been added to the Galaxy Note 10.1 after the upgrade to Jelly Bean. This Premium Suite only serves to enhance the Galaxy Note 10.1’s usefulness. The Premium Suite will include existing S Pen tools such as Color Picker, Easy Clip, Knowledge Search and Shape and Formula Match. It will also include Adobe’s Photoshop Touch.

Users are reportedly happy with the Jelly Bean upgrade as it improves the performance of the tablet. Paper Artist is pre installed.
