Reason of site is some Months old but only few visitors daily
Is you have created a website. you created the sitemap of your website which was about 10,000 pages and submitted it to google and bing. Your website is in the listing of google, yahoo, bing and ask.com. you have shared your site on facebook and other social networking forums. you have posted the links of your site on the relevant forums.
But it has passed few months and your site gets only about few visitors / day. It is the average.
How can you increase the traffic of your website??
That’s the biggest question mark infront of you…..
Possible Reasons:
- it is probably not ranked very highly in search engines hence despite it being indexed, people never see your website in the first few pages of the results so you are not getting any traffic…
- age of the site can affect the ranking so the older the site, the better your ranking will be… other than that you can also try SEO methods to improve search ranking such as directory submission, article submission
- on top of that, depending on what your website is about, whether it is a business or an information site, you can utilise some traditional forms of marketing such as banner ads, classifieds, leaflets (if you can provide some more information on what the site is about, people can be more specific about what sort of things you can do)

1. Do guest post on other site/blog

Start publishing and syndicating fresh unique content. The content must be of high quality and by that I mean your content must posses proper spelling and grammar, semantically related words, have a proper reading grade level according the Flesch-Kincaid readability test.
You can start publishing this content on sites such as squidoo.com, multiply.com, livejournal.com, blogger.com and other social media sites. Do not spam these sites with links, post very informative content that will lead to your site.
Participate in the social networks and social media sites, do not just tweet or like. Get involved in the communities.
The above is just one thing you can do, there is a great deal more but you want to focus on 1 marketing method at a time. Once you get a good feel for that method then you can go on to another marketing method.
By the way the content and seo on your site matters a great deal with search engines.
Almost 75% of traffic is coming from search engines. Therefore, you have to have a keyword to target to, and it must be a highly searched keyword. If you have reached a good position on search engine results for a search query, then you will receive a good volume of traffic.
by writing your own content on a daily basis, perhaps writing 3-5 articles per day on your chosen niche.
